As part of an ongoing partnership with the Presteigne Festival, we are delighted to welcome this year’s soloist Clare Hammond to the Barber.  This programme includes a new work by Robert Peate, the 2013 Presteigne Festival commission in association with the Royal Philharmonic Society, and three movements from Aquraelles, a collaborative project to celebrate the 150^th anniversary of Debussy for which five composers were asked to contribute a personal  musical response to one of the seminal masters of 20th century piano music.
