CoCoMAD 2019

CoCoMad 2019 marks the 23^rd year for CoCoMad, the quirky community festival of music, dance, arts, and science that takes place in Cotteridge Park.

In recognition of the anniversaries of the moon landing and the Mendeleev’s periodic table, this year’s theme is science so why not join researchers, staff and students from across the University of Birmingham who will be there to engage festival goers with the amazing science and research that takes place on campus. There will be a Research at the Heart of Brum pop-up market in the science field with all kinds of demos and activities in the science field, plus you can hear science talks, bump into science buskers or get hands-on with the University’s Lapworth Museum of Geology and Barber Institute of Fine arts.
