For the University of Birmingham's inaugural Veritas Forum, we are delighted to welcome Professor Ard Louis, Professor of Theoretical Physics at the University of Oxford to address this timely and important question.

Professor Louis will tackle the topic from a Christian perspective, and this will be followed by an opportunity for Q&A and dialogue with the audience, chaired by Professor Andy Schofield, Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Head of the College of Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Birmingham.

Started at Harvard in 1992, Veritas Forums are hosted by coalitions of Christian fellowships at over 50 leading schools, with the aim of engaging students and faculty in discussions of life’s hardest questions. We welcome the diverse viewpoints of experts who wrestle with the big questions both intellectually and personally. Past presenters include Francis Collins, Peter Singer, Steven Pinker, Sir John Polkinghorne, and Cornel West.
