Mums for Lungs is a grassroots organisation, founded in London and campaigning for clean air for everyone. While walking with their babies, the founding members became aware of the toxic levels of air pollution on the UK’s streets and decided to do something about it.

On Clean Air Day 2022, join University of Birmingham researchers and Birmingham-based Mums for Lungs member Kirsten de Vos to hear more about the important work being done, current campaigns and projects and how you can get involved to help make Birmingham’s air cleaner for all.

This activity is presented as part of The Air We Breathe, a public programme at The Exchange, with an exhibition, activities and events that explore the close relationships between us, our environment and our air quality. From a hydrogen train to a sci-fi forest, discover the work being doneby the University of Birmingham to deliver clean air both here in Birmingham and around the world and how you can get involved.
