Are you interested in a career in Medicine, but not sure what it involves? Come along to the University of Birmingham Medical School on Friday 12th July for an inspiring, challenging and fun glimpse into life as a GP. This event, which is jointly organised by the Midland Faculty of the Royal College of GPs, will give you a real insight into what family doctors do. You will be able to listen to GPs - including a military veteran who worked as a GP on the battlefield! - talk about their lives and careers, and you will have the opportunity to undertake small group practical work, including learning a few basic examination techniques in the University's Clinical Skills labs. Lunch will be provided.
