Family Law in Action: The challenges and the rewards of being a Family Law judge.

His Honour Judge Martin Cardinal followed his father's footsteps into the legal profession and, after studying at Cambridge, joined the family firm where he gained a solid and varied grounding in the practice of law. He became Family Litigation Partner at Anthony Collins, and developed a particular interest in representing the vulnerable, specialising in mental health cases and becoming Legal Chair of the Mental Health Review Tribunal.

Judge Cardinal has been a District Judge for over twenty years and in this lecture he share the highlights of his career in law, focusing on his work in the welfare of vulnerable people, the Court of Protection and the issue of forced marriage.
