The Cellular Health and Metabolism Facility offers a range of assays aimed at probing; cellular bioenergetics, mechanisms of mitochondrial (dys)function, real-time cellular cytotoxicity and viability, and constituents of whole blood.
This is achieved using state-of-the-art technology including high resolution respirometry using Oroboros O2K FluoRespirometry; Extracellular Flux Analysis using Agilent Seahorse XF analysis; optical measurements using a CLARIOstar Plus multi-mode microplate reader with atmospheric control; and blood cell analysis using a Yumizen H500 Hematology Analyser.
