Work carried out by the Cellular Health and Metabolism Facility that involves method development, data analysis or critical and intellectual contribution that significantly enhances the research project requires co-authorship on any subsequent publication.
Thus, prior to the work being carried out, discussion of co-authorship is required. In some cases, this may be more suitable after data acquisition and processing.
Independent use of the centre will not require co-authorship on any subsequent publication. However, acknowledgement of the “University of Birmingham Cellular Health and Metabolism Facility” is required.
