Health and Safety is of primary importance in all laboratory work and the CTL operates to the highest safety standards.
The CTL is committed to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for its employees, students and any other people who may be affected by its activities. CTL users will be notified of the relevant Health and Safety requirements and procedures before and during use of our areas.
The University of Birmingham maintains a Health and Safety website, where our Health and Safety policy and additional information can be found. Along with this the CTL also has a Health and Safety website where information specific to working in the CTL can be found.
