BA English and History (University of Birmingham)
Chris works as the Operations Officer within the CTL – it is his job to help manage the day to day running of the CTL. Chris helps to manage operational areas of activity such as committees, financial monitoring, timetabling, staff recruitment and induction as well as other HR related activities.
Chris also assists in establishing policies and procedures to ensure the annual business cycle of the CTL runs smoothly, to support the CTL leadership team and to work closely with the schools that use the CTL.
Experience
Chris started his career with the University of Birmingham working in the School of Chemistry. He was initially hired to oversee a significant recruitment campaign to hire new Lecturers and Senior Lecturers within the department, and subsequently stayed on to manage a range of key strategic projects for the school.
Previous to his time with the university, he worked as a Senior Recruitment Consultant and Account Manager for a specialist agency focusing on the recruitment of Procurement & Supply Chain professionals across the globe.
