Midlands SEM users meeting (MIDSEM)
- Metallurgy and Materials building
- Engineering and Physical Sciences, Lectures Talks and Workshops, Research, Teaching
The meeting features excellent speakers, a trade forum with details of new applications in electron microscopy and a trade exhibition from the major companies involved in electron microscopy, analysis, service and consumables. The meeting is intended to be an interesting and informative day for everyone with an interest in SEM and will include presentations involving SEM and FIBSEM.
There will be presentations from both Material Sciences and Life Sciences, the programme of talks is shown below. The meeting also has a "Trade Forum", a “Trade Exhibition” with many exhibitors from the microscopy trade and a FREE buffet lunch.
The meeting is kindly sponsored by the Trade Exhibitors, this enables us to have free registration for delegates including the buffet lunch. Please register to help us work out catering requirements although it is possible to register on the day.
The meeting takes place in the Metallurgy and Materials building at the University of Birmingham. Directions can be found here www.birmingham.ac.uk/facilities/electron-microscopy/how-find-us.aspx
