I am NOT funded by NERC. Where can I get funding?

Please note: we have now unfortunately run out of both the BBSRC and MRC bursaries for 2018.

We are attempting to source further funding to support these bursaries across 2018/19; if you would like to be notified should we manage to obtain further BBSRC/MRC bursaries, please email

There are numerous other organisations also offer training/travel bursaries to support their membership. We have given a few below that may be able to help.

Please note that this list is not exhaustive - it would be worth checking with any organisations with which you hold membership as to whether they may offer you support towards attending one of our courses:

If you know of an organisation not on the list who may be able to provide funding to our trainees, please do get in touch by emailing us at

How can I find you?

We are located in the Biosciences building (R27) on the 4th Floor.
