Our collections are now heavily based on online material including electronic journals, databases and reference books, with an increasing number of online text books available

The Main Library holds general and specialist research level collections in Astronomy, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics and Physics.

Other resources
Most of the physical sciences stock is available from the Main Library. Some more specialised areas relating to medical, dental, biochemistry, STEM and the history of science are housed at the Barnes Library and the Dental Library. Older stock, particularly for physics related areas, is available on request from the Research Reserve.
