University of Birmingham alumnus and Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at J.P. Morgan, Laurence Hollingworth will be delivering our next Distinguished Leaders Series lecture in March.  

J.P. Morgan is a leader in financial services, offering solutions to clients in more than 100 countries with one of the most comprehensive global product platforms available.

Laurence was appointed Vice Chairman – Investment Bank in January 2016 having previously been Head of EMEA Coverage. Prior to this he was Head of UK Investment Banking at JPMorgan Cazenove from 2011 – 216 and Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets from 2005 to 2011.  He joined Cazenove as an US equity research analyst in 1980 and has had a variety of roles including equity research, equity sales and in 2000 was appointed Head of International Equity Capital Markets, where his responsibilities included continental Europe and Asia. Some of the well-known names Laurence advises include Vodafone, Just Eat, Royal Mail, Spire Healthcare, The AA and Saga.

During the talk, Laurence will reflect on his personal journey, sharing his experiences, looking at the challenges faced throughout his career and giving an insight into what makes a successful leader in business.
