Are you interested in working in digital and social spaces?
Have you considered how libraries in the twenty-first century are anything but silent?

Ellen Morgan is responsible for digital engagement and content at the British Library. She is coming to the University of Birmingham to give a talk on "the Digital and Social Lives of Libraries"

The talk is open to all students and staff members, and there is no need to book.

Ellen will discuss various digital projects within the British Library, including podcast creation (Anything But Silent), Video Production (Curators on Camera), blogging, digital exhibitions, and social media. The talk will be inspiring for those who want to know more about what it is like to work in a global library, but also in other careers involving digital content creation.

Questions welcome to Dr Zoe Hope Bulaitis at z.h.bulaitis@bham.ac.uk
