I have been a secondary education teacher since 2014.

I am researching the development of the mirrors-for-princes genre in England during the High and Late Middle Ages. In particular, I examine how texts respond to periods of crisis (such as the usurpation of Richard II) and what strategies writers utilize to palliate their criticism of rulers.
