Before beginning my research at Birmingham, I was a masters student in the department of Philosophy at the University of Colorado Boulder and a masters student in the school of Philosophy, Psychology and Language Sciences at the University of Edinburgh. My primary areas of research are epic poetry and epic storytelling, philosophy of religion (especially from the Christian tradition), and heroic virtue. I am also interested in Platonism and free will.
