Please One, Please All?

Shakespeare Institute students will perform their collaborative work Please One, Please All? at The Other Place.

The piece is an interactive ‘live art experience’ and the culmination of thirteen students’ work on the ‘Shakespeare and Society’ module of the MA Shakespeare and Creativity. During this module, students have been working with RSC commissioned site-specific theatre group KILN to devise a public event. The brief, provided by RSC Director of Events and Exhibitions, Geraldine Collinge, asked the students to think about contemporary celebrations of Shakespeare’s legacy and explore how his legacy might be used to impact on our civic life today.
