Discovering Shakespeare study day

First year English students taking the ‘Discovering Shakespeare’ module will travel to Stratford for their first study day of the academic year.

Over the course of the day, they will hear from the Director of the Shakespeare Institute, Professor Michael Dobson, RSC Education Marketing Manager Natasha Goodge and Shakespeare Institute Librarian Karin Brown.

They will also participate in a workshop on King John, led by RSC actor and director Oscar Pearce and attend a performance of the show that evening in the Swan Theatre.
