Visiting The Shakespeare Institute

We hold a number of Open Days and Open Afternoons in each academic year. See below for details of forthcoming opportunities to visit. If you are not able to attend our events, but would like to visit on an alternative date, we can arrange this.

Prospective student visits are by appointment only, and can only be arranged Monday to Friday.  If possible, we can arrange for you to meet with a programme convenor (MA courses) / supervisor (if you are a prospective PhD student), but this is dependent on their availability.  Please contact shakespeare@contacts.bham.ac.uk if you would like to arrange a visit.

We also hold a series of Virtual Open Days, where our academics are available to answer your questions via a live online chat. Forthcoming events can be found on Postgraduate Virtual Open Day platform, and it is also possible to view transcripts of previous online chats. You can also view the Institute via our virtual tour.
