Azrin is undertaking doctoral research into micropalaeontological study of benthic faunas especially Foraminifera and Ostracods as both groups are particularly well-known for the UKCS and mainland. She is analysing Early Jurrassic sediment core samples from Northern Ireland to find microfossils involved for interpretation of palaeoenvironment, paleogeographic and palaeoclimate of the research area.
