The Council on Christian Approaches to Defence and Disarmament hosts an event in Parliament with Professor Nicholas Wheeler, Director of the Institute for Conflict, Cooperation and Security, University of Birmingham.

Prof Wheeler presents an authoritative assessment of trust in international relations drawing on his research and major new work “Trusting Enemies”. Using empirical case-studies he argues that to understand how enemies cooperate, we need to focus on the potential for building trusting relationships between state leaders. He examines the implications for face to face diplomacy.

This event is free to attend. To book your place, please RSVP to ccadd@sky.com by 10 July 2018.
