Professor Ray Laurence

The Birmingham and Midlands branch of the Classical Association is delighted to announce the 2013 Autumn lecture. 

Ray Laurence is Professor of Roman History and Archaeology at the University of Kent, and the author of numerous publications on Rome, Ostia and Pompeii, and on the family in ancient Rome. 

This lecture will appeal to anyone interested in life in Pompeii, and to all those who were lucky enough to see the current exhibition at the British Museum. All are welcome.
