Now that Latin can be taught as part of the KS2 primary languages curriculum, an increasing number of schools across the country are using Classics to enrich their busy primary curriculum.

The Birmingham and West Midlands Schools Classics Hub welcome teachers, senior leaders, and headteachers from the region’s state primary schools to our free information session this October.

Join us to find out how schools can access full funding for training and resources to quickly enable non-specialists to teach an ancient language, as well as ancient history and culture.

Among other benefits, schools find that Latin supports the teaching of literacy for pupils of all abilities, scaffolds language development for pupils performing below age-related expectations, and improves attainment in other languages at KS2.
