During the lockdown, the unprecedented global public health emergency caused by Covid-19 has a direct or indirect influence on most museums and historical institutions, affecting their revenue streams, labour rights, and security. My dissertation studying the impact of Covid-19 on museums in the UK aims to analyse the scope, nature, and duration of the crisis, as well as people's attitudes towards museums and the process of recovery.
