Ms Spataru is specialized in European Union law and international cooperation. Throughout the course of her career and education, she has engaged with cross-border procurement practices, international aid instruments and EU legal matters.
Her work as a university researcher at the University of Turin, was focused on the application of the EU procurement provisions on national practice and different perspectives and interpretations influenced by different legal traditions at the national level.
Ms Spataru’s work for the European Union Delegation in Kyrgyzstan (Cooperation section) specialised her in international aid and cooperation instruments on the resilience mechanisms through which the EU cooperates with its developing partners.
Her other professional experience includes: working in the private sector as a legal adviser for Lumen Legis Law firm; volunteering experience in providing free legal services to economically disadvantaged people.
