I am a Teaching Associate in Spanish at the University of Birmingham and a postgraduate researcher in Modern Languages at Aston University, where I was awarded a fully funded three-year PhD studentship from the School of Languages and Social Sciences last year.
I hold a BA in Translation and a double BA in Communication and Tourism from the University of Granada (Spain). I was granted Qualified Teaching Status in the UK and Spain in 2014 after completing a Postgraduate Certificate in Education. I am also accredited by the Instituto Cervantes as an official examiner of Spanish for all levels.
Prior to my current positions, I taught Spanish language at Cardiff University (2016-2017) and the University of Massachusetts Amherst (2014-2015).
