Formed in 2017, the Adelphi Quartet recently won second prize and the Esterházy Foundation Prize at the Wigmore Hall International String Quartet Competition as well as being prize-winners at the 2021 YCAT auditions. This performance features Stravinsky’s 3 Pieces for String Quartet, described as ‘not a ‘string quartet’ but a series of pieces to be played by four strings’.
