Westmere House is the hub for postgraduate research students at the University of Birmingham. The building hosts regular postgraduate researcher workshops, conferences, training sessions, socials and networking events.

Each of the University’s five Colleges has a Westmere scholar who helps to coordinate activities for postgraduate researchers and ensure that students are able to benefit from the opportunities offered. The College of Medical and Dental Sciences (MDS) Westmere Scholar is Olalekan Lee Aiyegbusi. Olalekan is happy to answer any queries current or prospective students may have. The facilities in Westmere can also be booked by postgraduate research students for events and meetings. There are four spaces available to book: the Seminar Room, Foyer, Social Space and Garden.
