Olivier is undertaking doctoral research into motor learning and motor adaptation to investigate the role of reinforcement learning in this context. Currently he is looking at the interaction between implicit cerebellar and explicit prefrontal reinforcement processes.

Biography

Olivier previously studied physiology at the Universite Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in Lyon, France before doing his MSc in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield. His project focused on enhancing a computational model of action selection.

Olivier enjoys playing table tennis and studies foreign languages in his free time.
