Title of PhD: What is special about tool-innovation?

Supervisors: Sarah Beck, Ian Apperly, Jackie Chappell

My primary research interest is children’s tool innovation. Using both experimental and individual differences measures, I will be examining children’s innovative abilities in a number of domains.

Biography

I have a first class honors degree (BSc) in Psychology from the University of Birmingham. I carried out my undergraduate project on children’s tool innovation under the supervision of Sarah Beck. Posters of my research findings have been shown at a number of conferences including; EPS Lancaster 2013, ESPP Geneva 2013 and BCCCD Budapest 2014.
