Healthcare Reform and Leadership from an International Perspective -  With Professor Marcel Levi, CEO of University College Hospitals

Marcel Levi believes he is working in “the golden age of medicine.” After his medical training and specialization in Internal Medicine at the University of Amsterdam, he obtained his PhD with honours (1991) and was appointed as a Fellow by the Royal Netherlands Academy of Science. He has also worked at the University of Perugia, Italy and the Centre for Transgene Technology and Genetherapy of the University of Leuven, Belgium.

In 2016, he was chosen as the “Netherlander of the year”, by a leading weekly magazine, exceptionally combining organisational leadership and management with hands-on, all-round medical practice as an Internal Medicine Consultant and as a research academic. He has published over 700 articles in peer reviewed journals. He is on record for his sharp observations of London NHS life and its differences with the Netherlands.

This event is free and all are welcome.
