Egle TsirovaDoes neoliberalism create more harmful societies?

Supervisors: Professor Simon Pemberton and Dr Miguel Ribeiro Ramos

Egle’s research focuses on the causal links between features of neoliberalism and social harms. She is specifically interested in how factors - such as inequality, individualism, low levels of social cohesion/trust, household indebtedness, and precarious employment contribute to autonomy, relational and physical/mental health harms. Egle specialises in advanced quantitative methods, and her research utilises longitudinal, quasi-experiment and experimental research designs.
