Dr Martinez-Valdes is an Associate Professor in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and Clinical Neuromechanics. He leads the Clinical Neuromechanics Laboratory, where he uses electrophysiology and imaging to understand how fatigue, ageing, pain and injury alter motor function, and to translate those findings into targeted rehabilitation.
