Bircan is a research fellow working in the Centre for Patient Reported Outcomes Research and the NIHR ARC (National Institute for Health Research Applied Research Centre) West Midlands. She is further delivering seminars as a Lecturer at the Business School, University of Birmingham and works as a Consultant at the Woolf Institute, University of Cambridge.

Biography

Bircan worked as a graduate student assistant at several national and international projects with Dr Lisa Goodson, e.g. at the Race Equality Charter Mark application of the University of Birmingham (2018-2020), 'USE-IT! -Unlocking Social and Economic Innovation Together' (2020-2021), and 'Empowering Cities Of Migration: New Methods For Citizen Involvement And Socio-spatial Integration' (2021 - present). Bircan is skilled in data collection, qualitative and quantitative data analysis using NVivo & SPSS software, mentoring MA students and teaching in Higher Education.
