After graduating as a doctor, Rebecca completed her foundation training in the West Midlands before starting general psychiatry training. Through this time Rebecca developed a keen interest in medical education and strategic processes, and eventually left training as a registrar to complete Public Health training instead.

Rebecca remains particularly committed to Public Mental Health as well as Medical Education, within her more general Public Health training.
