Biography

I am a versatile qualified teacher/lecturer with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Training (equivalent to PGCE-PCET). I have over 5 years of experience in delivering international foundation programs. I am also a full member of The Association Accounting Technicians (MAAT) with a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours in Financial Services, and a Bachelor Arts Degree in Accounting and Finance. I have experience of teaching Accounting & Finance, Economics, and Business Studies in higher education institutions and further education institutions.

Teaching

My teaching experience includes: delivering international foundation courses from level 3 up to level 6; teaching professional accounting students (i.e. The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) Professional qualifications from level 2 to level 4); and teaching BTEC Business qualifications at level 2 and level 3.

Other activities

I also have experience in course writing (i.e., developing new syllabi, assessments, and learning materials for online/digital learning platforms and blended learning). I have also worked as a workplace mentor/assessor for AAT professional accounting students. I am also self-employed as a part-time professional accountant specialising in preparing statutory accounts, value added tax submissions, business advice and company registration.
