I am an EAP tutor working on the Foundation and Presessional programmes offered by the BIA. In addition to teaching and coordinating programmes, I also like to take part in students’ social activities as often as I can.

  • BA in English Language and Literature (Transilvania University, Romania)

Biography

I am a linguist and educator with 20+ years of TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) experience in Canada, the UK, and Romania. I have taught EFL, ESL and EAP and have worked with adults and youth in corporate, secondary and university environments. I also have extensive experience in teaching exam preparation courses (TOEFL, IELTS, the Cambridge Suite).

Teaching

At the BIA, I have taught on the Undergraduate Presessional Programme (10- and 15-week courses) and the Foundation Programme.

My interests include educational technology, content-based language learning, LOA (learning-oriented assessment), professional learning communities, materials development.
