I started teaching at the University of Birmingham in 2013. I have taught at the EAP UG Presessional and Foundation courses. I have also taught different insessional classes, including lunch-time sessions, one-to-ones, and conducted staff and student workshops.

I have almost 20 years of experience teaching English language learners in Argentina, the USA, Kurdistan and the UK. I have devoted 15 of those years to working in HE institutions, teaching EAP in pre-sessional courses; ESP in medicine, law, media and business; English Grammar, Phonetics & English Phonology and English Language at a number of teacher training colleges and universities, including training Kurdish teachers in a teacher training programme in Kurdistan. I have also taught Technology Enhanced Learning (IWBs, VLEs, Student response apps etc), IELTS, FCE and TEFL.
