Biography

Prior to his current appointment, Dr Cortes Corrales was a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the Smith Institute for Political Economy and Philosophy at Chapman University. Sebastian also held Senior Teaching Associate position at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge.

Before starting his graduate studies, Sebastian was an Associate Researcher in Health Economics at the Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá, Colombia. There, he was involved in numerous research projects in public health.

Sebastian's primary research interest is focused on understanding how underlying network structures influence behaviour using game theory, incentivised experiments, and empirical tools. He is working on topics involving Networks of Conflict, Industrial Organisation and Political Economy.
