Mauro Lencioni is a cardiologist specialising in the cardiac ablation of arrhythmias and electrophysiology in Birmingham. He practices at the University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust (Queen Elizabeth Hospital) and at the Priory Hospital in Birmingham.

His area of expertise is in the assessment and management of palpitations leading to the diagnosis of abnormal heart rhythms and subsequent treatment. His research interests include the measurement of clinical outcomes of cardiac ablation primarily by the use of patient reported outcome measures.  He supports clinical research in anatomical 3D mapping of arrhythmias and mechanisms of arrhythmia.
