Mr Virdee is confident and very self-disciplined, always determined to accomplish all that he aims for, to the highest standards capable. At this point he is working in general dental practice and in Hospital covering Minor Oral Surgery clinics as a staff grade surgeon. He also splits his time teaching as an Educational Supervisor for foundation dentists and teaches as a Clinical Tutor at the Birmingham Dental Hospital. He has had further DCT training in a busy dental hospital Oral Surgery and Restorative departments, as well as spending a year in an Oral and Maxillofacial unit. Alongside this further training, he has continued to work as a dental associate and is therefore fully aware of the differences between hospital and dental practice patient management pathways. The posts have enabled him to experience a number of dental modalities including periodontal, conservative, prosthodontic, oral surgery, special care and oral medicine dentistry. He takes pride in acting as an ambassador for the profession and as a role model to younger colleagues.
