Dr Morris joined the University's School of Dentistry in 2017 as Senior Lecturer in Dental Public Health having previously worked for Public Health England and the NHS as a consultant in Dental Public Health. He is also a part-time general dental practitioner.

Dr Morris is module lead for Dental Public Health in years 3-5, lead for outreach teaching and has research interests in the following areas:

  • Dental epidemiology
  • Dental services commissioning
  • Water fluoridation
  • Oral cancer
  • Management of performance concerns in primary care
