Guy is a PhD Student at the University of Birmingham. He did his undergraduate degree at Birmingham too in Physics. In 2018 he then joined the 'Physical Sciences for Health' doctoral training programme. He uses near infrared light to image the brain. His PhD is looking at advancing the use of the imaging system we have, as well as using these methods to assess traumatic brain injury. So far he has published simulation work, presented at various conferences and worked in a project at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital looking at severe traumatic brain injury patients.
