Dr. Mahvish Nazir is a Lecturer and 2nd year tutor in the department of Electronics, Electrical and Systems Engineering.

Mahvish’s research interests are automotive radar, FMCW radar, signal processing and waveform modulation.

Mahvish graduated from the National Institute of Technology, India with a degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2006, with Distinction. She joined Satyam Computers ltd, India as a software Engineer, where she worked for more than 3 years. While working with Satyam computers she continued her higher education towards an M.S in Software Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, India. She completed her 2 years M.S course in 2009, with a CGPA of 10/10. She taught at an Engineering College in India for a brief period of time before moving to the UK in 2010 where she continued her studies towards a PhD in automotive radar. She completed her PhD from the University of Birmingham where she was later appointed as a Lecturer in 2016.
