Brian has extensive experience in research communication, knowledge management, research management, information technology, and education. At the University of Birmingham, he managed the International Development Department’s Governance and Social Development Resource Centre for fifteen years, delivering rapid research reports to international development policy-makers and practitioners. He continues to be affiliated with the GSDRC as a researcher on international development and environmental policy and practice. His previous experience includes work in academia, intergovernmental agencies, the private sector, and non-profit organisations.
