Brian is store manager for the south west campus stores, covering the Civil, Chemical and Mechanical Engineering Centres.
Brian is responsible for dealing with incoming goods and associated paperwork to three departments including sales of a range of consumables and laboratory equipment. He manages the stores annual budget keeping detailed records of all sales and purchases and sending monthly reports to accounts department.
Other responsibilities include auditing stock items and associated record keeping. Identify and storing those deliveries that requiring cold storage on arrival.
Brian duties include maintaining a safe working environment, including knowledge of COSHH, HAZDAT and risk assessments.
