Dr. Guixin Li is Research Fellow in Metamaterials Research Center, School of Physics and Astronomy. His research interests involve nonlinear optical process in plasmonic metamaterials, metal-organic hybrid crystal, organic semiconductor laser and related optoelectronic devices.  Thorough the inter-disciplinary research between ultrafast laser, materials and photonic nanostructures, he has realized many novel optical behaviours in plasmonic metamaterials and the fundamental physics behind these phenomena, finally translated the discoveries to practical applications in hologram display, imaging and optoelectronic devices.
