Funding Advice and Support

When you study at Birmingham we want to make sure that you do not face financial hardship. The University offers a range of financial support and guidance for you while you are studying here.

The Funding, Graduation and Awards team provides financial advice and support to all University of Birmingham students throughout their studies. If you are a current University of Birmingham student and have general questions about funding your studies, or want to get some budgeting advice, you can talk to a member of the team at one of our virtual funding advice clinics. Appointments are available between 2pm and 4pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays outside of University vacation periods

Prior to booking a session it is highly recommended that you review the information on our current financial support web pages. If you are concerned about the impact of financial concerns on your studies then you may want to book an appointment with your Wellbeing Officer so that they can talk you through your options. You can also always talk to the University’s Wellbeing Services if you need help. If you need to get in touch with Funding, Graduation and Awards you can email us at fga@contacts.bham.ac.uk
