Information for parents, guardians and carers

Finding the information to support young people to make decisions about their futures can be challenging. Here in the College of Medical and Dental Sciences we provide a range of different activities and work experience to support young people to find out more about biomedical science, research, and healthcare professions.

You can support your young people by encouraging them to take part in these activities and to use the resources to help them to make decisions about their future study and careers. Also, remember that the University of Birmingham is open to the public and you can visit the campus whenever you like. Visiting the Lapworth Museum of Geology, the Green Heart, or taking part in family activities at the Barber Institute of Fine Arts can be great ways to introduce even the youngest members of the family to the University.
